interviews a re-roller to a compiled procedure, in a trade that measures nothing

The Scoper's other interview scenario is a motorcycle workshop, and a fleet that only ever proves itself on motorcycles has proved itself on one shop. This one is a two-person operation that buys large coils of stainless tool wrap and re-rolls them into retail lengths — no machine under service, no technician at a bike, and the thing being judged is a product leaving the building rather than a vehicle returning to the road. The stake is a different shape too: nothing here fails in the shop, it fails weeks later in somebody else's furnace, which is exactly the case a record has to survive. What makes this scenario worth keeping is that THERE IS NO FIGURE TO FIND. The shop does not measure thickness, does not weigh anything, has no stated length tolerance, and never rejects stock. Every earlier version of this file invented one — a micrometer check and a return-to-mill workflow that this business does not have and has never had — which is the precise failure the product exists to abolish, committed in the corpus rather than by the agent. So the correct compiled procedure here contains no numeric acceptance bound at all, and the assertions say so. A procedure that comes back with a tolerance in it has had one fabricated, and `traceable` is the check that catches it. What this trade DOES have is provenance: the grade cannot be told by looking and is knowable only from the mill tag, and the mill number is carried onto the order so a bad batch can be traced to every roll that came off it. That is an evidence-and-identity procedure rather than a measurement one, and the fleet has to be able to compile that too.
